Signs of healthy behaviors in LGBTQ relationships

“Signs of Healthy Behaviors in LGBTQ+ Relationships:
Comfortable pace can look like respecting someone’s timeline for coming out to their family or friends and not rushing them.
Respect can look like using correct personal pronouns and name — and quickly correcting yourself if you make a mistake.
Honesty can look like being truthful with one another about boundaries regarding outness and public displays of affection.
Equality can look like combatting stereotypes about LGBTQ+ relationship dynamics (Example: Avoiding assumptions about butch/femme dynamics to ensure both people have an equal say in the relationship).
Independence can look like being comfortable spending time alone and with different friend groups both in and outside of the LGBTQ+ community.
